The Lord tells us in Isaiah 55:8-9, "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts."
We are often times confused or upset or frustrated when God does not do what we think He should do. Should we not instead rejoice?! If God's ways were like our ways, how big of a God would we serve? Do we really want the Infinite, all-mighty, all-knowing, all-seeing, perfect, and holy God to work and think like us, who are finite, flawed, and imperfect?
Let us rejoice evermore that God's ways are not limited to our ways and that God's thought FAR surpass our highest thoughts! Because Is 55:8-9 is true, so are Eph 3:20-21, Phil 3:20-21, 1 Thes 5:24, Jude 24-25, etc, etc, etc.
